Maintenance skills of lithium ion battery
1. Remove the battery: do not leave the battery in the device. Even if the device is turned off, the battery will still have the problem of electronic "leakage", which will eventually lead to the depletion of power.2. The unused battery does not need to be fully charged: for this reason, the Dajiang DJI UAV battery has the "storage" option. This option allows the battery to be charged or discharged so that only half of the battery's charge is retained for long-term storage of battery performance. Fully charged and stored for a long time will greatly reduce the battery life.
3. Don't let the battery overheat: the battery may get hot after high-intensity shooting of digital camera products. At this time, do not put the battery into the charger immediately for charging, this will only make the battery hot. In addition, do not let the direct sunlight on the battery, and do not put the battery in the place where high heat will appear.
4. Don't leave the battery on the charger for a long time: many people are used to putting the battery on the charger for a long time, and do not take the battery out until before shooting. As mentioned earlier, when the battery is not in use, only about 50% of its power should be reserved. The battery should be fully charged one or two days before use, and the battery should be taken out immediately after full charge.
5. Prevent the electricity from falling to zero: Although the regular battery products have protection circuit, there is still a chance that the voltage will drop too low due to long-term discharge. For most people, it is almost impossible for a low voltage lithium-ion battery to return to its original voltage safely. Even if there are devices and methods that can safely restore the voltage to normal levels, they may not be able to store power.
