More on Lithium Ion Battery BMS

There are two types of BMS: Battery Protection Circuit Module (PCM) and Battery Management System (BMS) . The industry is collectively known as BMS. The differences are as follows:

1. The PCM is made up of IC, MOS transistor and resistor and capacitor elements. It is an important component of the lithium-ion battery. BMS Can be edited and comes with its own battery management software, which is relatively more intelligent and is equivalent to the lithium-ion battery brain, which is used for regulatory purposes.

2. PCM has important applications in the field of 3C lithium-ion battery and Power Lithium batteries, while BMS has applications in power lithium batteries.

3. BMS Is easier to operate than PCM, but its performance is unstable at low temperatures.
